Sheng Pu-erh

Sheng pu-erh is “raw” pu-erh from Yunnan: sun-dried leaf without controlled fermentation, made to age slowly. Young sheng is bright and bittersweet; with age it gains depth and sweetness. Cakes, tuo cha, dragon balls and loose sheng from Lincang (Bingdao, Da Xue Shan), Jingmai and Mengsong, including ancient tree material.
