Terms of service
Version V01.08 · effective 27.08.2026
This document is provided as an informational translation. The contract is concluded in Czech. In the event of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
1. Seller
The seller and operator of the Red Teapot online store at www.redteapot.cz is city17 s.r.o. Complete identification details are published in the store's Company details section (https://redteapot.cz/pages/company-details). Contact: info@redteapot.cz.
2. Scope
- These Terms govern purchases made through the Red Teapot online store.
- A Consumer is an individual acting outside their business or professional activity. Provisions intended for Consumers do not apply to Buyers acting in the course of business.
- These Terms, the Shipping and Delivery Policy, and the Refund, Returns, and Complaints Policy form one contractual framework.
3. Products
- Each product page states the product's description, price, availability, quantity, and material characteristics.
- For food products, legally required information is made available before purchase; the best-before or use-by date is stated on the delivered package.
- Consumer information for the Czech market is provided in Czech.
- Photographs are illustrative. Normal variations in natural materials and handmade products are not defects when consistent with the product's description and nature.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
- Before submitting an order, the Buyer can review and correct the entered information.
- By submitting the order through a button that clearly indicates an obligation to pay, the Buyer places a binding order.
- An automated receipt only confirms delivery of the order. The purchase contract is formed when the Seller separately confirms the order.
- Before acceptance, the Seller may reject an order, particularly if a product is unavailable, delivery is impossible, or the price or description contains an obvious error. Any payment received will then be refunded.
- The order confirmation includes or provides access to the contractual documents and withdrawal information in a form the Buyer can save.
- The contract is concluded in Czech. English and Russian versions of the contractual documents are informational translations; in the event of any discrepancy, the Czech version prevails.
5. Prices and Payment
- Prices are final. For goods sold by weight, the price of the selected quantity and the unit price are displayed.
- Shipping charges, other fees, and available payment methods are shown before the order is submitted.
- Unless stated otherwise, payment is due when the order is placed. Bank-transfer orders are processed after payment is credited.
- The goods remain the Seller's property until paid in full.
6. Delivery
- Delivery methods, charges, and estimated timing are shown during ordering and in the Shipping and Delivery Policy.
- Unless otherwise agreed, the Seller will deliver goods to a Consumer no later than 30 days after the contract is formed.
- Risk passes to the Consumer when the goods are received by the Consumer or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier.
- Failure to collect a parcel does not itself constitute withdrawal from the contract.
7. Withdrawal
- A Consumer generally may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods. The procedure and statutory exceptions are set out in the Refund, Returns, and Complaints Policy.
- The Seller provides the model withdrawal form as a separate document; its use is optional.
- Withdrawal may be excluded, in particular, for customized goods, perishable goods, and goods removed from sealed hygienic packaging that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
8. Defects and Complaints
The Seller is responsible for the goods' conformity with the contract upon delivery. The Refund, Returns, and Complaints Policy explains how to submit a complaint, applicable deadlines, and available remedies.
9. Personal Data and Marketing
The Privacy Policy governs personal-data processing. Marketing messages are sent only as permitted by law and may be declined at any time.
10. Alternative Dispute Resolution
The competent consumer alternative-dispute-resolution body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI). Information and the online submission form are available at https://adr.coi.cz. Before filing, the Consumer may contact the Seller at info@redteapot.cz.
11. Final Provisions
- Czech law governs the parties' legal relationship. This does not deprive a Consumer of mandatory rights under the law of the Consumer's country of habitual residence where applicable.
- The version effective when the order is submitted applies to that order.
