Ru Yao Teapots

Ru Yao teapots are porcelain with the characteristic fine crackle glaze that slowly takes on the colour of the tea you brew. We have two: the classic Shi Piao shape, 240 ml, and a 175 ml pot in a pale sea-wave shade — sizes for gongfu brewing for one or two. The glazed surface does not hold on to aroma the way unglazed Yixing clay does, so one pot can serve different teas.
