Chahe

A chahe holds a portion of dry leaf before brewing: you can look at the leaf, smell it and then tip it neatly into the gaiwan or pot. Ours are in white porcelain, which shows the colour and shape of the leaf best, green ceramic and natural bamboo, plus a grey chahe with a small spoon for measuring.
