Shu Pu-erh Cha Gao (Ripe Pu-erh Tea Paste) A 2025

Concentrated ripe (shu) pu-erh paste pressed into small 0.7 g tablets.

Traditional cha gao is made by slowly simmering tea leaves for more than 24 hours with constant stirring until a resin forms; modern production uses gentle low-temperature extraction. The tablets dissolve completely, giving an expressive, juicy, nutty cup with fruity and woody-earthy undertones. Warming and invigorating.

Temperature: 90–95°C

Teaware: glass mug, porcelain cup, thermos

Tip: Dissolve 1–2 tablets in 200–250 ml and stir until fully dissolved; one tablet gives a mild, calm cup, two give a strong, energizing one.
