Zao Chun Mao Feng "Early Spring" Yunnan Green Tea 2026 AA

Spring green tea from Yunnan made from large, sinewy, dark green leaves, noticeably sturdier than most delicate green teas.

In a warmed vessel the aroma shifts to toasted nuts with a gingerbread note. The cup is dense and pleasant, with creamy sweetness, nutty undertones and a gentle, warming spiciness, without sharp astringency.

Temperature: 60–75°C

Teaware: porcelain or glass gaiwan, glass teapot

Tip: Low water temperature protects the creamy sweetness; for a brighter cup, add a slice of bergamot or a few jasmine flowers.
