Shai Hong is a naturally sun-dried red tea from the Mengsong region, pressed into individual tea bricks. The infusion is a pure amber-red hue. The bouquet features soft notes of wildflowers, dried apples, and rose hips. The flavor is clean and smooth, without a harsh roastiness, with a slight fruity acidity, honeyed sweetness, and good aging potential. Temperature: 88–92°C Tableware: porcelain, glazed ceramic Tip: Do not dry the leaves with boiling water: sun-drying preserves the softness, which is best achieved at 90°C.
