Menghai Shu Pu-erh "Lao Cha Tou" Loose Old Tea Heads 2018

Loose, aged Lao Cha Tou tea heads from the Menghai region, harvested in 2018. The infusion is a thick, oil-colored liquid with a distinct, oily sheen. The aroma reveals notes of clotted cream, roasted chestnut, and wood resin. The taste is enveloping, surprisingly soft, with a rich, date-like sweetness and a cool, lingering finish. Temperature: 98–100°C Ware: Yixing clay, glass teapot Tip: The lumpy part of the tea brews slowly: use the first two steeps for 20 seconds each to fully extract the tea.
