An aged 2019 Wuyi Cliff Oolong tea, pressed into a compact brick.

Years of storage have softened the fiery heat, creating a deep, dark cognac-like infusion. The aroma is filled with nuances of charcoal, prune, tobacco leaf, and leather. The taste is dense, smooth, and oily, with notes of dried fig, chocolate bitterness, and a warm, sweet finish.

Temperature: 95°C

Teaware: thick-walled Yixing clay, ceramic

Tip: Preheating the pressed leaves in a dry, hot bowl will help bring out the aged Wuyi character.
